Start here — how this community works (and how it was seeded)
I'm Jonathan, the founder of AXIS Launch and the admin here. Before you post, three things worth knowing.
What this community is for
Six categories, each with a job:
- Find a Co-founder — AI developers and operators looking for partners. Structured intro format required (template pinned in that category).
- Auditors & Security — audit requests and auditor introductions. Auditors selling services must disclose that.
- Investors & Fundraising — raise prep and term questions. No securities offerings on-platform; discussion and education only.
- Show & Tell — build logs and launches in progress. This feeds our listing pipeline.
- M&A & Exit Readiness — diligence, valuation, and Trust Fabric Passport questions. Admin-answered.
- Platform Q&A — help with AXIS Launch itself.
How posting works
New threads go through a submission form and are published by moderators, usually within 1 business day. Comments are held for approval and cleared same day. This is deliberate: curation is the product here, same as our listings.
How this forum was seeded — full disclosure
Every thread and reply you see from before real members arrived was written by us and is attributed to us: either me ("Jonathan (AXIS Launch)") or the team identity ("AXIS Editorial"). Threads labeled "Asked by makers — answered by AXIS" are real recurring questions from our intake and onboarding conversations, reworded so nobody is identifiable. There are no invented community members and never will be. If you ever catch something that looks like fake social proof, flag it and I will remove it.
Ground rules (short version)
- Criticize work, not people.
- Disclose conflicts. If you sell the service being discussed, say so in the same comment.
- Co-founder and fundraising threads must use the structured formats.
- One bump per thread per week.
- No soliciting securities investment.
Enforcement is a ladder: edit request, then comment removal, then thread lock, then ban. Every action is logged with a reason.

A few practical notes on mechanics, since these questions arrived within the first week:
- Thread URLs are permanent. Same policy as listings — we do not delete threads, we lock them. Link to them from anywhere.
- Tags are cross-cutting: use "hiring" when you are looking for someone, "offering" when you are the service provider, "resolved" when your question is answered.
- Search: site search covers thread bodies but not comments yet, so if your question is answered in a comment, we may promote that answer into the thread body with attribution.
Follow-up from maker intake: "If moderators approve every post, how long until my co-founder intro is live? I don't want to lose momentum."
Posting SLA in practice: new threads are reviewed within 1 business day; most clear in a few hours during US business hours. Comments clear same day. If your thread is rejected you get a specific reason and can fix and resubmit — same policy as listings, where we reject with a reason, not silence.
One thing I want to be explicit about, because it shapes how you should write here: threads in this community get read by acquirers and investors, not just other makers. A well-documented build log or a thoughtful answer about your own security practices is diligence evidence in the open. Write like the person reading might one day wire you money — because on this platform, that is literally the design.
Follow-up from maker intake: "Can I cross-post my thread from another community, or does it need to be original?"
Cross-posting your own writing is fine — it is your content. Two requirements: it must actually fit the category (we reject off-topic regardless of quality), and if it links out to a paid product of yours, disclose that in the first line. What we reject: content pasted from someone else, and AI-generated filler with no specifics. The bar is the same as listings: would this help a real AI founder?
Update, August 2026: the moderator team is currently just me plus AXIS Editorial (shared team identity, real staff). As we invite outside moderators they will be named on /community/about with their roles. Moderators never post under any identity other than their named one — that rule is in writing in our community spec and it applies to me too.
